The agency’s funding sources are widely varied.  We are the providers of Medicaid mental health services for our service area.  We also rely on the collection of client fees and private insurance.

We have a 24-hour crisis hotline (970-247-5245 for La Plata, San Juan, and Archuleta County residents, and 970-565-7946 for Montezuma and Dolores County residents).  If you believe you or someone you know is having an emergency, please don’t hesitate to call this number.

Southwest Colorado Mental Health Center provides services to the individuals, families, and businesses within our service area.  Our core populations are individuals with severe and persistent mental illness; individuals with psychological, emotional or behavioral disorders; individuals with psychiatric emergencies; and individuals with chemical dependency problems.  We provide these services to adults, children/adolescents, and seniors.
